Its was [C] Billy who tended that garden where the blood was [F] discovered
So they [G] descended upon him like a stampeding [C] herd

when the evidence was sprinkled with [G] lies

The black mark was written on Billy’s [F] papers
But with [G] each stone thrown he tried to pray for [C] her
